Be Part of the Magic, Work With Us!
Teen Volunteer Opportunities at Coyote Tracks
--Intern Program -- ages 15-17
Program is one of service where learning and “dirt-time” opportunities abound!
As an Intern you’ll prepare materials, assist with supervising students,
maintain Fire Keeper duty, run adventure tasks, lead games, and generally help camp
run! You will also have time to work on your own skills. Space is limited and there is no fee as you work
for COTEF and room and board is provided. You must have previously taken each course for which you apply. This
is a great way to improve your skills and spend more time at camp! Positions
range from one week to the whole summer. Interns must be 15-17 years old.
--Instructor in Training -- ages 16-17
We have many teens who have been long time participants or interns and have a great deal to offer but haven't yet turned 18. Those who are interested in becoming instructors someday can apply to be an Instructor in Training. Instructors in Training work with the instructor teams to plan and implement the program. Although the responsibilities are modified, Instructors in Training get hands on experience working with children and teaching the skills. It's a wonderful way to improve your own skills while giving back to the community. (Note: All IIT Applications must include a volunteer application as well as our Application Supplement found at the bottom of this page.)
Adult Volunteer Opportunities
--Program Volunteer Volunteers are needed to help with many of the necessities of camp. They help with food preparations, oversee chore groups, help set up for activities and help with some of the activities. Our programs couldn't operate without the support of these critical volunteers.
--Volunteer Guest Instructor We always welcome those who will come and teach as a volunteer. We've had people volunteer all summer or just to come in a teach one skill during a program. Your gift of time and talent will make a significant difference in the lives of the children and families we teach. If you'd like to come and share your talents, we'd love to have you!

* Vouchers are good for up to 1 year and are transferable as long as you give us notice of a change in name on the voucher.
--Other Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are also needed in other areas such as photography, grant writing, fund raising or others that support the organization overall. We are hoping to create a new COTEF video so would love to speak with anyone experienced in filming and creating videos. To volunteer for any of these types of activities, please email email@example.com.
If you are interested in volunteering for a program, please complete our volunteer application and submit it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note, all adult volunteers are subject to reference and criminal record checks, the same as our paid staff.
We have opportunities for people to come and work or volunteer with us throughout the year and help keep the Vision alive. Children in turn inspire us all to strengthen our connection to the Earth. What you need
