Program Description:

Our weekend programs introduce the family to the wonders of survival. We will cover the basic skills of shelter, water, fire and food as well as increase comfort in nature through awareness activities. All of our programs are very experiential and incorporate hands-on activities, games, storytelling and fun! Join us for a family adventure! This program will run alongside Tracker School’s Standard course.

Ages and Prerequisites:  ages 4-17

This program is designed for families to attend together and is open for youth and teens age 4-17. Parents must participate in the program with their children. During the program, kids are with their parents most of the time and older teens may go on more challenging adventures. No former experience is necessary.

Friday 6:00 p.m. to Sunday 12 noon
Camp Lindblad, near Santa Cruz, California

Fees:

$395 for first parent and child (this is the price for two people)
$180 for each additional family member

Deposit:            $100 deposit is due at registration. 
Balance:           The balance for this program is due:      Friday, March 28 ^th
                            If paying by credit card, you may indicate if you’d like us to
                           automatically charge the balance at the due date.

Registration Deadline and Procedures

Registration Deadline:          *March 14, 2008
*Registrations are taken past the deadline, but if sufficient registration is not received by the deadline, the program will be cancelled.  This allows time for our staff as well as participants who are flying to make transportation arrangements without fear of program cancellation.  If flying in, please do not book flights until after the deadline.
           
Registration Procedures:
Print the registration form from the website or contact the office to receive via mail.  Please make sure a separate medical information page is completed for each family member who will be attending.  Submit completed application with the appropriate deposit.  You will receive a confirmation including directions and equipment lists upon receipt.
