Concentric Rings and Coyote Tracks Program Manager, Lead Instructor
Brandi started her journey into primitive skills in 2008 when her husband came home from his first set of classes at The Tracker School and began sharing with her what he learned. Over the next few years as Brad continued to take classes they worked on simplifying their lifestyle to accommodate Brandi quitting a full time restaurant management position to open her schedule to take the classes herself.
In 2014, everything lined up and her path headed straight to The Tracker School and she completed her first 4 classes that summer.
Brandi interned at The Tracker School for the 2015 season. She was also co-camp and intern coordinator with her husband for the 2016 season. Brandi has a passion for living closer to the Earth and sharing with others the skills that have changed her life.
I grew up with COTEF. I started out as a student, then became an intern, then an instructor in training, then an instructor. I encourage other teens to look into becoming a COTEF intern–it’s a wonderful, rewarding experience. I was initially attracted to the idea of being at home in nature.
I love doing skills and working for COTEF. Getting to live in this kind of scenario connects me to my humanity. I want to help other people seeking that connection. It’s good to have the background to understand our past in order to live a better present and plan for the future.
