Programs for Children, Teens and Families:
"My 3 boys and I attended Coyote Tracks Family Youth and Teen Experience last summer and we had an AWESOME time learning about nature, tracking, making fire and soooo much more! They have a fabulous program going here and I highly encourage everyone to learn more about it!" Our Coyote Tracks programs include a variety of week-long and weekend programs for youth, teens and families offered in locations around the country. Our courses range from introductions to the art of survival through advanced skills such as bow making, hide tanning, basket making and scout training. We have programs designed for children as young as age 4 through teens up to age 17. Programs for Homeschool, Scout and School groups: We share our skills and teachings with Schools, Scouts, and other private groups.
We are able in many cases to travel to your location. Teacher Training Programs (Over 18's) Our Teacher Training Programs are designed for adults who want to develop their ability to pass on these skills to the next generation, to keep Grandfather’s vision alive. We have two programs, a week long course (Teacher Certification) and a shorter weekend version (Teacher Training). The Teacher Certification allows individuals to run 1, 2, or 3 day courses on COTEF’s behalf in their community as we cover everything from how to present the skills to youth, to registration, administration, logistics and leadership. At Teacher Training we share the COTEF teaching methods, Coyote Teaching and the way in which we present the skills to children.
