Please read the following information carefully!
(NOTE: The Coyote Tracks camp is NOT in the same location as Tracker School.) Please refer to the following when making your flight arrangements:All program participants must arrive and depart from LaGuardia Airport. Coyote Tracks will only do pick-up/drop-offs at this airport. (*If flying into another airport, it will be your responsibility to arrange transportation to Camp Ludington, or LaGuardia Airport within the designated time frames for pick-up, as well as notifying our office of these plans.) • ALL FLIGHT INFORMATION must be sent to our office at least two weeks prior to your arrival! This is necessary to ensure an airport pick-up/drop-off for your family or child/teen. • Plan for your flight to arrive no later than 4:00pm on the day your class begins. • Coyote Tracks representatives will be at the airport for pick-up beginning at 2:00pm on the day class begins. All teens that are allowed by the airline to proceed unaccompanied and families will need to meet Coyote Tracks outside the airport’s central terminal, outside of terminal D. • Our final airport pick-up van/bus will leave the airport by 5:00pm in order to return to Camp Ludington in time for dinner. • On the day that class ends, our van/bus will leave Camp Ludington promptly at 12:00PM. We will arrive at LaGuardia roughly around 1:30pm. Due to this, we recommend that you arrange your departing flight to leave after 4:00pm. -- IF YOUR CHILD IS AN “UNACCOMPANIED MINOR” (GENERALLY UNDER 12 YEARS OF AGE, & SOMETIMES UNDER AGE 15, DEPENDING ON THE INDIVIDUAL AIRLINE): • Please inform the airline that your child is traveling alone, and that a representative from our program will be meeting your child at their gate upon arrival. • In order for the airline to release your child to the Coyote Tracks representative at the gate, we may need a special pass that you must request separately from the airline. • You can send this to our Manahawkin office, or have the airline mail it to us directly. • Generally the airline will require the name, address and phone number of the person that will be meet-ing your child upon arrival. We will have this information 48 hours prior to the date that your child will be arriving. You will need to call our Manahawkin or Camp Ludington office for that information in order to ensure that your child will be met at his/her gate! PLEASE NOTE: Your child may need a photo ID for his/her return trip -- please check with the airline on this requirement. Arrival and Pick up TimesPlease check your dates carefully. Most Coyote Tracks classes start on a Sunday and end on a Friday. IF YOU ARE ARRIVING/ PICKING-UP BY CAR: - We will begin registration at 2:00pm on the day the class begins. You may arrive before this time, however, no one will be available to help you until 2:00pm. - Please arrive before 5:30pm on the day the class begins. Dinner is at 6:00pm; you will need time to register and set up. - The course ends at 12:00pm on the Friday. We head into staff meetings immediately, so be sure to pick up your child by noon. You can arrive anytime that morning. Be aware, however, that your child will be engaged in culmination activities and goodbyes until noon. You are welcome to join us in our ending ceremony if you arrive early.
