Family Wilderness Survival Weekends Build Confidence

(PRWEB) August 13, 2010 -- Coming this fall, Children of the Earth Foundation (COTEF) is offering two Family Survival Weekends, September 3-6 in New Jersey and September 17-19 in Massachusetts in which children as young as age 4 and their families can come to discover the adventure, fun and confidence that knowing wilderness survival skills can provide.

Learning survival skills at COTEF Family Survival Weekends will do more than keep your child safe. People often think of survival as a life and death struggle forced upon someone who has become lost or stranded in the wilderness and, although these skills can save your life, learning survival skills teaches a great deal more than how to deal with an emergency.
