Rachael Pecore

Rachael works remotely from Oregon, where she was born and raised. In grade school, her class read the book The Tracker and loved it so much that they raised funds, and flew out a few of Tom's students to spend a whole week teaching tracker skills at her school.  She'll never forget her first night in a debris hut (it was a long, cold night but there was glowing fungus in the roof!), or her first bow drill fire. Looking back, she believes that week changed and charted her life!
Rachael studied BioResource Research and International Studies at Oregon State University and earned a M.S. in Holistic Science from Schumacher College.
Feeling at home in nature is a passion and a gift that Rachael enjoys sharing. Knowing how fun, empowering, and the ripple effect of these skills in her life have been, she's excited to connect schools, scouts and other kids groups with awesome COTEF instructors through our Concentric Rings programs.
